Graduation from Intown Playgroup

This morning marked a three-year-old's milestone for both Graham and Julia : graduation from their playgroup, where we've all gone since September of 2009.

Mame joined me to watch Graham and Julia 'march' in to 'pomp and circumstance' in their blue caps. When picking up their diplomas, each child was asked what they want to be when they grow up.
Fireman
Kitty Kat
(You guess which child said which!)

It was a lovely day, a lovely party...a bit overwhelming for the children and for many of the adults.
It's been a wonderful two years at a loving and warm playgroup ... with incredible moms and dads and a true 'village' where our children have all thrived...we are so lucky to have experienced Intown and made lasting friendships, for the entire family.
"I guess this means I'm all grown up now. Shucks."

Graham, ever so dubious of the Balloon Man.

Graham and Julia and the Balloon Man

Julia, waiting for her 'ladybug' balloon to be made (which held, oh, 10 minutes of interest, if that!)

Julia, hanging onto the words of her elders for guidance

Uh-oh. What did I just do? I don't want to graduate from Intown Playgroup!! It's FUN and all of my friends are here!

Well, maybe it's not going to be soooooo bad.

Look! It's me, on the back of my diploma!

Me, uncropped.

"Good morning, good morning, good morning to you..." Julia and Graham and some of their playmates at graduation.

"Yes. Yes, I see it...the future..."

"Where?"
