Hark! Julia, I shall protect you from the aliens! -- Astronaut Graham to Fairy Princess Julia

I think you did it, Graham! I think the Aliens are gone! thank you!

Uh oh...they're baaaaack!

I just found some photos on our camera card...from Halloween 2010, Aunt Annie, etc.

Enjoy, I know that I did!

Best friends and Shakespeare

When Graham and Julia go into the front parlor/library, inevitably, one takes a Shakespeare book and says "Read this to me" ..
After a few short verses, the lack of photos, drawings, etc, makes them reach for other books...
Somehow, I hear "Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo" crooning up from this photo..

Delaware Oct/Nov 2010

I overlooked these wonderful photos from a visit to Terence's parents, Ed (90) and Dorothy (89) ... Dorothy is vibrant and an artist, Ed is fairly bed ridden but rises to the challenge from time to time!
Here are some pics...enjoy.

Catch me, Mommy!
I can see you! I can see you!

Botanic Garden Holiday Train Display-Jan 2 2011

"But maybe if you explain to mommy that you need all of these trains, she'll let you take some home, Graham!"
--This is an amazing exhibit, with various train sets moving around a large room laden with world famous 'monuments' made from plant materials. A few pics ..So how many trains are there here? And you mean I can't even take one home?

Live Nutcracker Puppet Show-Glen Echo

Julia is so taken by the 'Sugar Flum Pairy' that I had to find a show post-Christmas to take her to...lo and behold, the Puppet Theater at Glen Echo had a "Live Pupppet Performance" -- a cross between a puppet show and adults wearing enormous head 'masks' and costumes.

Here are some pictures...at the end of the performance, Julia cried because she wanted/missed Clara (Called "Clarice by Julia and Graham, ala Rudolph the Red Nosed Raindeer's girlfriend!)...
so I took her up on stage, where the actors were posing sans masks...here are some pics. This puppeteer was amazing, he did the dance of the flowers with a 'tulip' mask on his head--minimal visibility--while manipulating numerous tulip puppets.
Clara, without her mask. Julia felt better (I think) after meeting her and 'talking' to her.
